The main projects that the Palm Springs Film Alliance and Inland Empire Film Commission are working on involve promoting statewide and local incentives to help keep production work in our area.

Assembly Bill 777 is a bill pending in the State Legislature that would allow tax incentives for productions filmed in our state. This bill is vitally important to help keep filming from being siphoned away by other states that have robust tax incentives such as New Mexico and Arizona. Since local incentives cannot compete with these, the Inland Empire Film Commission has been working hard to get this bill passed.

LOCAL INCENTIVES
The Inland Empire Film Commission and the Palm Springs Film Alliance have created a proposed set of incentives that would give locally created productions financial and other help with their projects
